The Personal Assistance Voice Dialer kit is a heart-shaped alert pendant-necklace with a pushbutton on the middle of the pendant. When pressed, it sends a wireless signal to a dialing console hooked up to your landline telephone.
The console begins to dial pre-programmed phone numbers (up to 4). As it calls these numbers one-by-one, it play a message (that you've recorded) letting whoever answers the phone know of a potential emergency. Like an answering machine, you record the message with your voice which is then played over to those receiving the phone call.
After each call, the console continues with the next phone number until all of the phone numbers have been called and the recording played. If the console receives an answering machine message, it disconnects the call and proceeds to the next phone number until its able to reach a live person.
If you receive a call from the console, you can even listen in to the room by pressing the 0 key on your touchtone telephone -- thanks to a microphone built in to the console. If there's an emergency, you'll know! Allowing you to respond properly!
The dialer console has an onboard siren that goes off once the pendant is pressed that is loud enough to alert anyone who may be in the home. Because of this feature, the Personal Assistance Voice Dialer can also double up as an intruder alert! Not only will the siren grab anyone's attention, it will also scare off those who are not supposed to be there!
Because it operates using X-10 wireless signals, you can even upgrade your system with other x-10 compatible alarm or home automation components!
